The documentary film "Pappy Boyington Field" will be screened on MCB Hawaii, at the K-Bay Theater on June 29, 2009, at 6:30 p.m.
The free screening will be for Marines and Military Retirees in the Kaneohe Bay area.
Recently the Marine Corps Air Facility was redesignated to MCAS Kaneohe Bay. The airfield also added a commemorative name "Carl Field" in honor of the late MajGen Marion E. Carl, another legendary WWII Marine Ace.
