The James Hamilton Information Technology Management Civilian Marine of the Year Award

Established by the Commandant of the Marine Corps in September 2003, this award is presented in honor of Mr. James Hamilton, a 50-year veteran of service to the Marine C4 Community. The Hamilton Award is presented to the Civilian Marine who most exemplifies leadership and technological innovation within the Information Technology Management (ITM) field. This year’s award recognizes superior performance during calendar year 2006. Recommended by contemporaries, supervisors, and their respective Commanding General or Commanding Officer, nominees are recognized for special performance of their ITM related duties that positively impact their commander’s ability to perform his or her mission. The Marine Corps Association sponsors the Hamilton award through a grant from AT&T.
