The LtCol Kevin M. Shea Memorial Unit of the Year Award

This award is awarded annually in honor of LtCol Kevin M. Shea, USMC, to recognize the Marine Corps communications or information technology unit or organization within the OPFOR or SE that has distinguished itself by making the most outstanding contributions to the Marine Corps C4 field in the development or advancement of concepts, doctrine, technology, or procedures that improve Marine Corps C4; and/or by demonstrating continual resourcefulness and responsiveness while supporting the warfighter in a tactical, operational or strategic environment.
